Below is a link to brackets for the Softball for Sadie tournament. We normally would have more teams, but a lot of teams fall apart once the State Tournament happens. Entry fee for all age groups is $150.
Softball for Sadie Brackets
I’d like to thank everyone for participating in the Softball for Sadie Invitational Tournament & Fish Fry. I’m also thinking about some special rules for this tournament.
1) I’d like to bat your lineup. This should be a fun tournament. And if you ain’t playing, it ain’t too much fun.
2) Free sub on defense
3) It’s ok if you want to have a player coach 1st or 3rd base as long as she has a helmet on.
This weekend should be fun and relaxed. So I encourage you to do things you wouldn’t normally do.
Finally, we will also be having a benefit fish fry. Fish plates are $6 each. It will include fried fish, baked beans, cole slaw, bread and a desert. You will need to purchase a drink from the concession stand. My concession guy have a great relationship. He is letting me do this special event, but he would like to be able to pay his help.
All proceeds from the event will be used to offset the cost of Sadie’s care at the hospital or any remaining burial expenses. Anything above that will go to St. Jude’s. Sadie rode horses for St. Jude’s.
