Everyone,
Now is the time to put your plans in place for the Post-Season. If you are planning to play in any ASA post-season tournament, we need to get your entry together so we can make sure you have a spot. It’s not an emergency; we just need to get on it. The deadline to get entries into the state is June 20th. So we need to get everything together within the next week.
Deadline: Entry Form and Tournament Entry Fee no later than JUNE 19th, 2008.
District Tournament:
The District Tournament will be held on June 27 & 28 in Picayune, MS. This is a Class C tournament and only Class C teams can participate. This one is pretty easy. If you want to play, please let me know and I will put you in. Tee Ball and Coach Pitch are $125. The 10U, 12U, 16U and High School Divisions are $175. You will need an ASA Official Roster completed. I will sign your roster at the tournament. Please call or email if you want to play at Districts.
State Tournaments:

2. You will need to complete the ASA Tournament Entry Form as soon as possible. It can be found in the downloads section. Please fax to me at 228-246-0267. Once I have your Entry Form, I can work on holding a spot for you.

4. To play in a State-level tournament, all the players on your teams must be Individually Registered. Each player will need to show an ASA Player Card to verify their registration. If you need to do Individual Registration, please complete the blank roster in the downloads section (Excel Sheet). The cost is $8 per player or coach.
5. Finally, you will need a completed an ASA Official Roster. The form is in the downloads section. I also need to sign your roster.
6. In summary, here’s what each team needs to play in a State Tournament:
a. Tournament Entry Form (fax’d to me at 228-246-0267)
b. Entry Fee Paid (mailed to my home)
c. Completed Roster (signed by me)
d. Proof of Individual Registration for each player (Player Cards)
e. Birth Certificates and Picture for each player.
National Tournaments:
A few of you may be interested in National Tournaments. Please let me know if you are interested. I’ll need to work with the State ASA Director to work an invite.
