Below is the updated brackets for this weekend’s Long Beach Invitational Tournament. It’s a very big tournament with 30 teams. Especially the CP with 13 teams. Rather than splitting the brackets, we are using a 3 game guarantee drop down brackets. We’ve used it very successful in State Tournaments the last couple of years. Teams are split by their performance into Upper and Lower divisions. With so many teams, we will need to play several coach pitch games on Friday night to finish Saturday night. It’s unavoidable as we know so many don’t want to play Sunday either.
The tournament will be held at the Klondyke Softball Complex and Long Beach High School. The address to the Klondyke field is 780 Klondyke Road, Long Beach, MS. The Long Beach High School Field is a little further down the road at is 18160 Allen Rd Long Beach, MS 39560.
Your tournament director is Jeremy Schmidt. Your tournament Umpire-In-Chief is Mike Taylor. Please make sure your players hydrate. Parking will be at a premium, so car pooling will help. We hope everyone has a great weekend.
