This weekend starts our Fall Invitational Season. We have seven tournaments including a fall championship on tap for this fall season. I know of several teams in coach pitch, 10u, 12u and even some 14u teams that have formed. Our tournaments are unique in that the proceeds from the USA Softball invitational tournaments go to the hosting organization. The full list of tournaments can be viewed at the link below:

The Stone-Wiggins Recreation Association would like everyone to come participate in their invitational tournament this weekend. The tournament will be held on Sept 23rd, 2017. We will not play any on Friday night. Fall tournaments are generally one day tournaments. But Sunday is possible though depending on number of teams and the rain gods. The tournament will be at the Hood Field in Wiggins. The closest address to Hood Field that works for GPS’s is 490 Mill Av. Wiggins, MS 39577.

Just a reminder, all players participating must be USA Softball Individually Registered. Players may be registered online at USA Softball Individual Registration. The spring registration carries through Dec 31st. So many player will already be registered. Individual Registration sanctions the player with USA Softball and provides supplemental medical / general liability protection for the players, field owners and tournament hosts.
