The Long Beach Girls Softball League would like to invite everyone to play in their invitational tournament tournament this weekend. Long Beach added a field, so they will have four fields available at the Klondyke Road softball complex. The tournament will be held on Jun 8-9th, 2018 at the Klondyke Road softball complex. Sunday is reserved in case of rain The address is 780 Klondyke Road, Long Beach, MS.
Please register early as it will help the tournament organizers prepare for this weekend. It also helps bring out other teams. So please register early.
There are separate divisions in 10u and 12u for All Stars and Open. We’ll keep them separate depending on the number of teams registering to play, but they may be combined without notice. We are definitely hoping to see more league based teams this weekend. Play can begin as early as Friday night and can go into Sunday; although we try to get it on Saturday if possible. Sunday play is possible if circumstances warrant e.g. rain.

USA Softball of South Mississippi helps organize the invitational tournament trail to help our local leagues raise money to support their softball program. A lot of families simply can’t afford to put out a bunch of money to play softball. The leagues bear much of financial burden so the girls can go out and play. All proceeds this weekend will go to the Long Beach Girls Softball League.

Just a reminder, all players participating must be USA Softball Individually Registered. Players may be registered online at USA Softball Individual Registration. We started a new playing year on Jan 1st. So many player will need to registered again. Individual Registration sanctions the player with USA Softball and provides supplemental medical / general liability protection for the players, field owners and tournament hosts. Teams not completing the registration process by Thursday noon may be removed from the upcoming tournament.
