Below are brackets for this weekend’s Bayou View Memorial Day Classic Tournament. This tournament always marks the official start of the All-Star season and is always a popular event. This year we’re full to the gills to keep in a Friday and Saturday affair. There are 31 teams in this event including 5 in the 16U division. It’s been a lot of years since 16U has made and were’ very happy to see it come back.
This is an All-Star and will be played by tournament rules. The 10U has the biggest change. They will play like the big girls including dropped third strike, 3 outs or 5 runs in pool games, and 3 outs exclusively in bracket. There is also no coach pitch.
Address to the fields is Bayou View Sports Complex at 4300 Hewes Av, Gulfport, Mississippi, 39507. The entry fee is $100 for Tee Ball, $175 for Coach Pitch and $200 for Fast Pitch per team. Thank you supporting the Gulfport Youth Sports Association. All the proceeds this weekend goes to help their kids.
