The Gulfport Youth Sports Association will host their Annual Memorial Day Classic Girls Invitational Tournament the weekend of May 27 – 29, 2011. That’s this weekend. They will host all age groups; Tee Ball, Coach Pitch, 10u, 12u & 16u.
The tournament will be at the Bayou View Softball Complex on Hewes Av in Gulfport. I encourage everyone to register as soon as possible. We had 33 teams in Ocean Springs last weekend. This week we will have a few more new teams joining in on the fun. It’s getting very difficult to fit our tournaments into a Friday and Saturday. I am expecting a big Memorial Day weekend tournament. Be sure to register early so you don’t miss the fun. Next year, we might have to consider some Saturday/Sunday tournaments so everyone can play.
I am very pleased some of our friends from the Gulf Coast Softball Association (formerly Orange Grove Girls Softball League) will be participating in our tournaments. Competition only makes all of us better.

ASA/USA Softball is the National Governing Body of Softball. Teams must be sanctioned with ASA Softball to participate in the Gulf Coast ASA Tournament Trail events.
