This weekend kicks off the long tournament season with the annual Woolmarket Rec Team Tournament. Attached are brackets for this weekend’s tournament. We have a strong 35 teams playing this weekend. Just a reminder, this is a Rec Team tournament. The tournament will be played by our Interleague Rules with no pickups allowed. Leagues are reminded to have rosters submitted today so I can pull it together for the tournament director. The tournament will be played at the Woolmarket Sports Complex. The address is 16520 Switzer Park Rd, Biloxi, MS 39532. Be sure to put “SWITZER PARK” into your address. Otherwise you’ll end up someplace else…. The entry fee is $100 for TB/CP and $125 for FP.
We’ve been watching the forecast all week. Luckily it seems to be improving, although it’s still not great. The forecast has improved. Definitely bring raincoats and be prepared for inclement weather. Sunday is a possibility.. but we really want to avoid it if we can. Most people want their Sunday to relax. 8u and 10u are our two biggest divisions. So we plan to get those game started on Friday night. Everyone else will play Saturday.
