The good news is this looks like a wonderful weekend for softball. Highs about 82 degrees and partly cloudy. The better news is we have 28 teams for our first All-Star weekend. We had 23 last year.. I’m anticipating a really big season.
Attached are brackets for this weekend’s 2026 Pascagoula All-Star Invitational. They have a wonderful ballpark and 7 fields. I’m sure everyone will enjoy a good one-day tournament. The tournament will be held at the Pascagoula Sportsplex. The address to the field is 1604 Convent Road, Pascagoula, MS. But it will lead you to the north parking lot. There is another parking lot on the South side located at 1813 Tucker St.
This is the beginning of All-Stars. So don’t be surprised by the rules changing. We tend to let the girls play more in All-Stars. For example, there is no coach pitcher in 10U. All Star Rules can be found at https://usasoftballsouthms.com/?page_id=6097.
The entry fee for 6U and 8U is $175. 10U and up is $200. Entry fees are paid to the Pascagoula Girls Softball League. Their Venmo is @pascagoula-softball if you want to pay electronically.
Everyone should be reminded to register early for these tournaments because they are getting bigger and bigger. Tournaments will fill up. Wednesday noon is the deadline for registering or dropping out of a tournaments. We want to allow time for leagues to prepare and lock in our umpires so have the best tournament possible.
