The Long Beach Girls Softball League will host their invitational tournament this weekend on Friday and Saturday, May 11-12, 2012. It’s Mother’s Day weekend, so they will do everything possible to not play on Sunday. That includes limiting the number of teams. The tournament will be held at the Klondyke Road fields in Long Beach. Depending on numbers of teams registered, they might also use a couple of other facilities. So pay close attention when they call and send you game times. A map can be found on the web site under Fields & Directions.
The weather is absolutely spectacular. We had a great time in D’Iberville this week. I encourage everyone to come out and play. So get out there before the weather gets too hot.
Please register as soon as possible if your team wants to play. This tournament normally fills up, so please don’t wait.
