Welcome to the 2013 Gulf Coast Championships.
We have 57 teams competing this year. If all go as schedule, we will finish up late on Saturday night. We will be using all 9 fields at the Ocean Springs Sports Complex. So it should be a packed house.
A few considerations for this weekend:
1) It’s going to be a hot one. Be sure your players are hydrated. Make sure they drink plenty of water.
2) Parking is a premium. So please car pool if you can. Also, motor homes will not be allowed. It takes up too many parking spaces.
3) Ocean Springs will allow 3 coaches to enter for free. They will be keeping a log. The first three coaches per team will be allowed free entry. So anyone that comes in afterword will need to pay the entry fee. So know if you are an “official coach” or not.
4) Check-in will be in the main building. All teams will need to come by to check in. There is also a sign-in page included with this packet. Each team should submit a completed one at check-in. It does not need to be signed by each player. We just need to know who’s playing with you this weekend.
5) If you want to play in a State Tournament, we must have your Tournament Entry Form and Entry Fee this weekend. All of this needs to be turned in on Monday. So I need your entry this weekend.
