The format is straight double elimination. Everyone will qualify for the State Coach Pitch Tournament in Ridgeland on July 10-12, 2015. Before you leave the tournament, you will need to pay the entry fee ($250) for State if you are wanting to play. There will not be a coaches meeting on Friday night. Everything you need to know should be in the packet. Just let me know if you need something in the meantime.
Players will need to sign in before they get ready to play. So you should allow about 15 minutes for them to check-in. Also note that other teams will be checking in also. So allow enough time.
It’s supposed to be hot and dry. Please have your players start hydrating tonight. Long Beach will only allow one team cooler per team. Personal coolers and not allowed. So plan accordingly. We will also watch how the day is going and may add breaks accordingly. But we hope to finish up sometime Saturday night.
