THIS WEEKEND: Friday, February 26th through Sunday February 28th, 2016
The City of Gulfport Sportsplex will host eleven – (11) NCAA Division I softball teams representing seven (7) conferences. The teams will play four to five games each over the three day period. The teams and their respective conferences are listed below.
Some of the teams will arrive on the Mississippi Gulf Coast on Thursday and games will begin at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 26, 2015 and finish up on Sunday, February 28 with four games beginning at 10:00 AM. With twenty-five (25) games on the slate, residents of the Mississippi Gulf Coast should be able to find a team to support. We encourage fans of all ages to come out to the ballpark and enjoy some great Division I College Softball competition.
At the same complex on the north fields, there will be high school softball games with thirty-three (33) high school teams coming from across Mississippi and Alabama to compete. Combined with the college games, there will fifty-six (56) games over three days for softball fans to enjoy. The High School event will run on Friday and Saturday. Tickets will be sold at the gate, with a $10.00 daily entry fee or $20.00 for the weekend pass which gets you into the High School and College Events for the weekend. Children 12 and under wearing a league jersey or travel ball jersey get in free.
