At the District Meeting every year, we spend a few minutes on special topics. A frequent topic is protection of these players from those that would do harm. There isn’t a nice way to say it, so here it is. I regret to inform you that there are potential pedophiles and child molesters in our ball parks.
They asked infamous bank robber Willie Sutton why he robbed banks, Sutton simply replied, “Because that’s where the money is.” Why would these derelicts hang out at our ball parks. Because that’s where the kids are. They have un-natural thoughts about these kids and they can get ready access to some unsuspecting young person.
