Below is a link to the Tournament Information Packet for this weekend’s Mississippi ASA/USA Softball 10U & 12U State Tournament. Please review the packet carefully. I have a checklist to make sure you have everything you need to play this weekend.

You are entering Championship Play, so everything will be a little more formal this weekend. We play by the State Rules and the Official Rules of Softball. The local Gulf Coast ASA rules do not apply. You will need a roster that needs to be filled out and signed by the parents. Included in the packet is rules for fast pitch.
There will be a Coaches Meeting on Friday, 2:00 PM at the fields. It would be good to have at least one coach there. The first game time is 4:00 PM. Players need about 15 minutes to check-in before they play. Be sure to allow enough time for them to check-in before they warmup. They will not play without checking in.
he 10u bracket is a 3 game guarantee bracket. Teams that lose the first two games are put back into the bracket. That ensures everyone gets three games. There will be awards for 10 A Champion and Runner-Up, 10 B Champion, Runner-Up and 3rd Place. The 12u will play two pool to double elimination.
The closest address to the field is 4300 Hewes Av, Gulfport, MS. There is a map included in the packet. The weather forecast is improving, but you should be prepared for anything. Be sure your players hydrate to be able to handle the heat.
