The Gulfport Youth Sports Association is very excited that all of you will be participating in their annual Memorial Day tournament. Attached are brackets for this weekend’s tournament. This tournament will be held at the Bayou View Sports Complex at 4300 Hewes Av, Gulfport, Mississippi, 39507. I’ve also attached our local tournament rules because some coaches are new to our tournaments.
We are scheduled to be a one day tournament. Sunday play is possible if we get rain. But we will make every effort to finish on Saturday. We know people have plans for the holiday weekend. The forecast has consistently improved as the week has gone along. Saturday is 50-75% chance of rain with accumulation of 1/3”. Sunday forecast is a little better. They are predicting heavy rains on Monday and Tuesday. Let’s hope they are right.
Just a reminder, all players must be USA Softball Individually Registered. If your players are registered, you should have a player card or a receipt saying they are registered for 2018. Players can be registered online prior to Saturday morning at:
