Most importantly, everyone should to take a few moments today to remember all those that gave the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our country. The men and women serving in our armed forces sacrifice much of their personal freedoms in service to our country. They offer their lives so we can enjoy the living in this great country. Remember them today and offer our thanks to all the members of our armed forces.
The Biloxi Girls Softball League would like to invite everyone to participate in their annual invitational tournament. The tournament will be held June 1 – 2, 2018 at the A. J. Holloway (Biloxi) Sportsplex at 765 Wells Drive in Biloxi. Play can begin as early as Friday night and can go into Sunday; although we try to get it on Saturday if possible. Sunday play is possible if circumstances warrant, e.g. rain.
There are separate divisions in 10u and 12u for All Stars and Open. We’ll keep them separate depending on the number of teams registering to play. We are definitely hoping to see more league based teams this weekend.
Please register early as it will help the tournament organizers prepare for this weekend. It also helps bring out other teams. So please register early.

USA Softball of South Mississippi helps organize the invitational tournament trail to help our local leagues raise money to support their softball program. A lot of families simply can’t afford to put out a bunch of money to play softball. The leagues bear much of financial burden so the girls can go out and play. All proceeds this weekend will go to the Biloxi Girls Softball League.

Just a reminder, all players participating must be USA Softball Individually Registered. Players may be registered online at USA Softball Individual Registration. We started a new playing year on Jan 1st. So many player will need to registered again. Individual Registration sanctions the player with USA Softball and provides supplemental medical / general liability protection for the players, field owners and tournament hosts. Teams not completing the registration process by Thursday noon may be removed from the upcoming tournament.
