Welcome to the Mississippi ASA 10U-12U-14U-16U B-State Fast Pitch Tournament. This is will be a big tournament with a total of 40 teams this weekend. We will need to spread out to two ball parks. I wish I could get everyone to play a new complex, but we will never get the tournament finished. We have 40 pool games in before we even get to bracket play. At best, it will be Sunday afternoon wrapping everything up.
We will have a COACHES MEETING on Friday, June 22, 2012 at 10:00 am. It will be at the Ocean Springs Sportsplex at 4515 Highway 57 in Ocean Springs. Each team should have one team representative at the meeting.
All players will needs to sign-in prior to playing in the tournament. So don’t wait until the last minutes to get everyone to the ballpark. We have 40 teams to check-in. So it’s going to take a while.
Below is a link to the Tournament Information Packet. It has a checklist of information you need to bring. Please review it before you come to the tournament. Here’s what you need:
• Championship Roster signed by parents
• Birth Certificates for each player
• Recent photo of each player
• Player Registration Card
• Proof of ACE Coaches Certification
• (Players will not be allowed to play without all the necessary proof of eligibility.)

Also included are the tournament rules and map to the ball park along with some other information. The 16u age group can wear steel spikes. All other age groups must wear rubber cleats.
The weather is always a challenge in South Mississippi. Please keep your players hydrated and watch their your physical condition. We will work real hard to keep everything running smooth. Please stay in touch with us.
